🔴 As part of the ongoing cultural and educational program for children, the Main Public Reading Library of Médéa organized a new specialized workshop in Arabic calligraphy, focusing this time on the beauty of Kufic script.
This introductory workshop was led by Mr. Aymen Ben Roukia to deepen the children’s understanding of the principles of this script, as part of an intensive plan to prepare for upcoming local and national competitions.
The workshop focused on the following key aspects:
🔵 Practical training: Writing selected letters and words in Kufic script while emphasizing its distinctive geometric rules.
🟢 Shape analysis: Understanding the proportions and precise measurements that distinguish Kufic script from other Arabic calligraphic styles.
🔴 Strategic goal: Strengthening the children’s readiness for the upcoming competitions centered on this ancient art form.
