Workshop of Drawing and Awareness

A special awareness workshop was launched on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities with the participation of children.
As part of its cultural and intellectual program aimed at promoting coexistence and raising awareness of the rights of persons with disabilities, the Main Public Reading Library of Médéa hosted an art workshop dedicated to celebrating this international day.

The workshop saw active participation from children, who expressed their views and solidarity through drawing and coloring, addressing themes related to persons with disabilities, their abilities, and their right to inclusion. The main goal of the activity was to build a conscious generation that understands the importance of acceptance and inclusion.

The workshop focused exclusively on awareness-oriented drawing and coloring:
• Awareness drawing and coloring: Children created artistic works reflecting friendship, integration with peers with disabilities, and the use of colors as a means of expressing support and inclusion.

The library administration emphasized the importance of such educational workshops and the role of art in developing human sensitivity among children, strengthening the library’s role as a cultural space that promotes social awareness.
